How long is a group, and how much does it cost?

Group therapy runs as a course, and the total length depends on the topic. Courses have often been between 8 and 16 hours in total. Fees are charged per person for the whole course.

Are groups online or in person, and how big are they?

It depends on the topic. Some groups meet in person and some meet online, and group sizes vary. The details of each group are confirmed with you when you sign up.

How do I find out which groups are open?

Call us at (647) 728-2955 or contact us online, and our front desk will tell you which groups are currently open and what each one covers.

Will I have to share personal things in front of others?

You decide how much you share. Joining a group does not mean you have to speak about anything you are not ready to talk about.

Can I join if I have never been in therapy before?

Yes. You do not need any previous experience with therapy. Your therapist will explain how the group works before you begin.

Is group therapy right for me, or should I start with individual therapy?

Group therapy can be a good choice on its own, or alongside individual therapy. If you are not sure which is right for you, call us and we will help you decide.

Is what is shared in the group kept private?

Privacy is an important part of group therapy. Your therapist will explain how confidentiality works in the group before you begin.
