Brenda’s Bio

Brenda brings over ten years of experience as a counselling psychologist and clinical supervisor in Hong Kong, where she worked across non-profit organizations, private practices, and schools before moving to Canada in 2022.

Much of her work centres on neurodiverse children, teens, and adults, and the families who love them. Brenda believes that change lasts longer when the people around us are part of it, so she often invites parents and family members into the process, helping them understand their loved one and build a home that feels supportive and steady.

Her interest in this area goes beyond the therapy room. Brenda has contributed to research on social skills programs for autistic adolescents and adults, and on helping parents of adult children with autism feel more confident in their role.

In sessions, Brenda is warm, practical, and collaborative. She works at her clients’ pace, focusing on small, meaningful steps that make daily life feel more manageable.
